Since 2001, 24-7prayer has been sending mission teams out around the world, primarily (but not exclusively) to (youth) cultural 'high places', to places and to those who haven't heard about Jesus, and are unlikely to... to poor people and to those marginalised by society, and sometimes just to crazy places. Essentially these teams have gone carrying the same core values as most 24-7prayer rooms - to go and pray, and see where that leads... most often into mission and mercy and service.
- TO PRAY: 24-7Teams takes non-stop prayer to the high places in youth culture. It’s up to God what happens next.
- TO OBEY: 24-7Teams can change the lives and challenge the faith of team members. The army is gathering. Jesus commands us to ‘Go!’... to act out our prayers with passion and with discipline.
- TO PAY: 24-7Teams will train and equip team members to pay the price of our prayers.
- TO STAY: 24-7Teams don’t believe in ‘Hit & Run’ missions. As far as possible we work with radical churches whose long-term commitment to the places we visit continues long after we leave. We go to serve and encourage these churches.
APPLYING
If you were to apply for a 24-7team and get accepted, we would train you either through a large training gathering beforehand or on the first few days of the team (depending on the demands of the team's location). You would also be exposed to contagious environments of worship and prayer. And then you would head out with your team into some of the most extreme spiritual conditions in Europe and beyond. Sound like fun? :o)

And finally, we’re really excited about 24-7teams because God has been opening some amazing doors, from Ibiza to Ayia Napa, and from Macedonia to Mexico. God seems to be linking together like-minded groups across the globe. 24-7Teams is not a new organisation as such, but a networking of like-minded people committed to ‘praying like it all depends on God and living like it all depends on them’. We particularly focus on locations where the people on the ground are passionate for God, desperate to see their communities transformed and are committed to the 24-7prayer vision.

We also have particular confidence in our hosts because we know there are people committed long term to these places; a huge amount of groundwork has already been done and it will continue long after we have gone. They are the key and we just try to play our part.
