A groups of us from the Christian Unions in U.C.C and C.I.Tin Cork had been meeting together to pray at the end of last year and it emerged that a mutal interest amoung a few of us was to have a day of prayer.

In the current economic climate all eyes are onj how buisnesses and organizations will display their first quarter performances. Many predict that the already bleak outlook will in fact bemuch worse with poor figures ro back this up. Yet 24-7 in Ireland has had it's busiest quarter yet!!

Lurgan- Now Praying

 Over the past few weeks the town of Lurgan has featured prominently in national and international news with the nearby killing of a policeman and riots linked with arrests.

We had planned these 3 weeks of prayer for a while now but it seems clear that God's timing in this is right. The Church is called to respond in prayer - asking God for His help, protection, and favour at this time. We His people must step up in boldness (not in fear) and take back ground for His Kingdom.
