Now Praying

Louise Ferguson has just checked in with some fantastic stories of taking prayer to the streets of Dromore, Co. Down and bumping into some rather important people
The second time I visited Ireland was the summer of 2006. I was 23 and on my own. I drove around a bit, got lost once or twice, and experienced a lot of beauty. One of the places I visited was the raised beach of Malin Head.
A cold winter night a week before Chirstmas, an old church in the centre of Dublin slowly filled with some of our city’s homeless. Three weeks of preparation, one full day of madness and a beautiful vision looked it’s purpose in the face.
Right now we can see a growing momentum within the 24-7 Prayer movement in Ireland, the past year has seen 60+ prayer rooms that we know of and many others that are planned for 2008. We want to encourage God’s people to pray and are encouraging churches, organizations and communities to see the incoming year as an opportunity to commit to seasons of non-stop prayer.
