24-7 Prayer Communities are a growing family of churches, Houses of Prayer and New Monastic Communities across the world. In Ireland we have a number of 24-7 Prayer communities from fledgling New Monastic Communities to larger gathered expressions of church. The strategic hub church seeking to resource and multiply the Communities Network in Ireland is Emmanuel Church based in Lurgan and Portadown, Country Armagh. Emmanuel Church calls the wider network of churches it has planted or ‘adopted’ Tobar which means ‘well’ in Irish. Tobar is an indigenous expression of the 24-7 Communities Network in Ireland carrying the 24-7 Prayer core values of Prayer, Mission and Justice.
All across Ireland there are groups of people passionate about praying for their local area – we are in the process of developing some regional hubs with prayer, mission and justice at the heart. Watch this space for more info and contact us to find out what’s happening in your area.
24-7 Prayer Ireland are delighted to announce an exciting new project in partnership with the Lucan Centre, Dublin – a centre for prayer and retreat. Get in touch if you’re interested in a retreat as an individual, community or team.
